Are you talking about dishes? Or other glass? I use citric acid in my dishwasher to deal with hard water stains on glass dishes.

Vinegar. If you can soak the surface longer contact will work better.
CLR and some scrubbing, to avoid a repeat performance put a squeegee in your shower and squeegee the water right after a shower.
