Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I came across a site that recommends using 50/50 vinegar and water. Spray on the spiders and anywhere spiders may congregate.
Since this is likely indoors, I have occasionally used "bug bombs". Available wherever they sell bug sprays. You set them up per directions on a chair with newspaper under the can in several locations around your home for even distribution. Then you set them off and leave for a few hours. Come back and open all of the windows. You may not ever get rid of every spider but it will knock them back to almost none, along with whatever bugs the spiders have been feeding on.
Make your on hand soap. Place the pieces in an empty hand soap pump bottle. Add hot water to dissolve the soap. Add more water to get to the right consistency to pump it out. Or buy a soap bag at a discount store, put the shards of soap in it and use it to bathe witH. No more wasted soap.
I hate spiders! EEEEK! We use this spray along with our swiffer on the floors and to dust and it helps to keep the buggers at bay --> https://pinkfortitude.com/swiffer/
I don't kill wolf spiders as they eat the tiny vermin. When I see a brown recluse or black widow I spray with hair spray. It encases them completely.
When I find a black widow web I spray it with hair spray. It works. I keep a cheap bottle of hair spray in my well house as that is where I find most of the buggers.
add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to the cleaner you use around where you’re seeing the spiders or where you think they’re coming in. Or you could use the essential oil with just a water solution. It doesn’t kill them but your Home won’t be a good home for them anymore.
we live pretty much in the middle of the forest. About 15 min ago a small herd of deer wandered through the yard. I haven’t seen a spider bug, etc., inside our home, besides the occasional fly or mosquito , in years. Every Spring I use a box of 20 Mule Team Borax around our home, right at the foundation.
We have animals so I’m extremely careful not to use anything that could potentially make them even a tiny bit sick. 😻
A flyswatter or a shoe both work great! ;)
