Help! A battery was placed on an oak table. Battery acid leaked!!

Battery acid leaked onto an antique oak table
It left a mark... looks like the acid ate away at the finish
Thanks for any help in this matter.

    If it is veneer then you’ll have to take to a professiona. It can be sanded down with sandpaper if it is solid wood & then restaun & revarnish.

    You might try Howard's Restor A Finish. It will allow you to blend in the finish, and eliminate the mark.
