We tried everything including Finish and nothing worked for our extreme mineral deposits in our water. Then we tried LemiShine, it is made by Walmart and is in the dish washer detergent area. We first ran our dishwasher with soap and lemishine empty. Then we put Lemishine in every load along with detergent pods. We have no trouble at all now!

This is an old lead crystal vase my mother-in-law gave me. I have tried vinegar, Lemi Shine, Bon Ami, jewelry cleaner, no name it. I am afraid it is ruined forever....

You can soak them in some white vinegar or a limescale solution.
You might try CLR from the store.

I forgot to tell you , we eat on glass see through dishes daily, and use crystal for holidays and birthdays etc and nothing has spots now!
