I was given a side Car. A side Car is what is attached to a motorcycle. I want to put it in my garden. Fill with plants. Plants that do not need a lot water. But I need ideas so its not an EYE SORE. Thank you for your time ahead of time.

Thank you. That was one of my first ideas. Next to ivy

  • How about succulents or cactus? They require a minimum amount of water and could look really cool!

Oh that could be so awesome! You could actually use it as a storage area as well by locating a tray or building one to fit about 3-6 inches into the inside of the sidecar so it would be removable when needed. Then plant different succulents in a container placed on top of the "shelf" you've created. Succulents don't need a lot of water so they'd be beautiful and be practically maintenance free. Good Luck! I'd love to see a pic once you've finished the project.

This wouldn't be my cup of tea, but that's not a criticism. My only thought would be to check with a HOA if there is one. I think this idea is one that a lot of people would love, or maybe some not so much.

Great idea! Instead of planting directly in the side car, consider using pots instead. I love making found items into what we call “yard art”!
