My cement driveway stops about 7 or 8 ft short of the road. There was gravel there, but most of it has washed away and weeds are growing up there. Someone suggested asking cement companies to drop off their excess for free. But, when I spoke to a handyman about it, he said I'd have to have area dug out and a frame built, and because it's on a sharp incline, someone would need to push the cement up the incline as it dries. And, since I wouldn't know when the cement company was going to show up ahead of time, I'd need a handyman who could drop everything and come right away. Yeah, that might happen. Ha. And buying bags, would cost $200 for the cement alone, not including all the work!
