Ways to landscape your sloping hill without spending a lot of money and easy maintenance. Plus run the water to one side for rain run off like maybe a dry creek running through it.
Looking to the top of the hill coming down the driveway from main road
Going down the driveway. Would like to run the rain water water to the back side of the garage to a dry creek going to the lake
A view from the deck. This is coming down the drive from main road.
This is the view from the lake. Looking towards this view I was thinking of the dry creek on the right side of the house, there is a start of a natural one now. The left side would be going up to the drive straight up to the main road. We use this drive all the way to lake for a boat ramp.

We arranged local stones from the bottom to the top and planted 2 creeping juniper on an 8 foot span. Water soaks into the ground under the rocks and we have no runoff. The junipers have grown to cover the entire surface of the rocks. We started at the bottom of the rise and built it up layer by layer. Since it is slanted there is no need for mortar or any other thing to hold it in place.
