You can amend soil to change the soil Ph. You will need a soil test kit, https://youtu.be/bKHsBlMQdcM?t=104 If you have a local farming supplier they can help select the right minerals to enhance your soil. Mulching the rows will help hold moisture if the soil drains to fast also.
