Copper Molds need cleaning & polishing- any tips or hacks?

I have the old copper molds and some new ones in my kitchen. Several need to be cleaned and polished. I have tried using copper cleaner, but when it tarnishes next time, it is quicker and blacker and even harder to clean. Any home made hacks or ideas to clean copper and polish it?

After cleaning you can use spray lacquer to inhibit oxidation on the molds, as long as they are for decoration only.
