I have a small round glass top table with wrought iron legs. I used acrylic paint and painted a scene on the bottom of the glass, then sprayed a clear acrylic to seal the paint. This is called reverse glass painting. The scene has to be painted in reverse so when you turn it over, it makes sense. Also, it is in reverse of painting on a canvas because you have to paint from the glass up. You will only see the paint that is touching the glass, nothing over that. Usually, you start with the background and paint forward to the finished painting. Painting on the bottom of the glass means you will see an amazing scene and still be able to use the table top. Great fun!
