Mosaic of Beach

somewhere I acquired this long narrow door. I believe it covered a ladder in the hallway wall access to attic. Perfect thing to make a mosaic on, since there is a strong backing for tile, and it already has a frame via the door trim. I have a stash of different colored tiles, and thought of the beach. Some people can’t see it, maybe you have to squint your eyes!
i simple broke the tiles with a hammer and fit the pieces together like a puzzle. The very bottom color is the grassy area behind the sand. Then the tan tiles are the sand. Light green starts the surf, a little darker greenish-blue= a little deeper water. Then the navy tiles are waaay out in the ocean. above that, slightly lighter blue. This is sky, with a couple white clouds. Voila!!
And here’s it final resting place, on the back porch.
