First you must locate the leak. Most probably it is the drain. You should take the drain apart and clean it well, there probably is hair and soap scum keeping the drain from closing properly. You may need to replace some parts that have worn out before reassembly.

You can buy a Moen faucet repair kit at hardware or home centers. If you don't know the model number take a picture of it to the store with you and ask for assistance to get the right one. It isn't hard to replace the cartride because they have good instructions and include a special tool to remove the old one easily.

If the leak is from the round cover remove and confirm the source. Single handle washerless faucets do have washers inside that need to be replaced periodically. If you dont know the model of the faucet to identify the repair kit needed. Or If you can turn off the water, take apart the faucet to get to the washers, I would take to the store with me. A link attached to give you an idea about repair parts. Good luck
