What product should we use for a wood accent wall in our kitchen?

Our cabinets will be grey and I have approx. 65 sq ft of wall that I would like to do in wood or wood planks, not sure what would work the best. The wall is behind the refrigerator and the little wall to the left.
If you decide to do wood planks, which would look great, I would first cut plywood or MDF to fit the wall. You can then staple or screw the planks into wood, rather than a thousand holes in your drywall.
I would also put some sort of sealant on the plank wall. You’re in a kitchen, and you’ll want to be able to clean that wall occasionally.

Rosewood or Mahogany or if you wish to paint it from time to time - go for an unfinished white wood.......
I would use refurbished pallets we made a door for our bedroom and it came out beautiful.we have had lots of compliments on it
