How do you get baked on food out of a smooth too range?

    Mix a paste of baking soda and water, not too thick. Spread it on the top and let set a while. Use a non-abrasive scrubber and pour some white vinegar and some more water on and scrub. There are also tools you can get for scraping the burned on food, its basically a razor blade in a handle, so if you have a flat razor blade you can use that, as well

    If you are asking about the stove top, use a safety razor blade, then clean as usual. Make sure the blade isn't potted or rusty and it won't scratch the glass top.

    I would add, patience. Give the baking soda and water to soak in before you scrub. Starting with softer, more dissolved food will make to places easier to scrub. Repeat this process of covering the food with baking soda and water and waiting while it soaks in a couple of times, then scrubbing, a couple of times. You could add vinegar to the baking soda to get even more action in the stains. Protect that top, and make a sign or label that says: Never cook on high heat! ☺️

    Dampen a fabric softener sheet well and place over the food and then cover with saran wrap and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. That will help soften the baked on food, then scrub the area with a scrubby. Should take care of it!
