Barnwood vanity and mirror - How do we change out the lighting?

My husband just built a new barnwood vanity. When our new flooring is installed, we need to change out the old for the new. We currently have two lights, on the side of the mirror, and want to change to one light over the mirror.

Id call an electrician so he can feed the wires through without cutting the wall, and making sure your bathroom outlet is up to code. (GFI).

He can add more outlets for hair dryer, etc. I’d think about getting a new fan to draw moisture that works with your new decor, possibly even with a heater if your room is cold in winter. Not terribly expensive at all.

Bite the bullet and do it once, says the voice of experience.
