Is it okay to use a steam mop on hardwood floors?

    Generally, no! If the hardwood has been totally sealed, you might be able to fast-steam the floors to remove dirt, but they need to be dried with a fan or cloths ASAP so the moisture won’t make the floor swell or buckle. ☺️

    I have used a steam mop, but think the best best cleaner is Bona. It's actually GOOD for your floor, not just not harmful. I use the steamer on the bathroom floors ~ on tile, pergo etc ~ terrific.
