How to fix the screen on my sliding glass door?

I cannot take it off the track and the screen is coming out. I've heard of a magnetic screen but can one be made? Just don't know how to fix it so it doesn't look so bad. Thank-you!

can you get a picture for me of the door and screen? do you know who sold that door type? or manufacture ? if your frame is steel, a magnetic screen will work. i got mine from a camping supply company. there is a way to put a new screen in place. the doorway is just one big window.

it involves window spline, and new screening. and a red brick. and a screening roller. i think it was the this old house web site. have you tried lifting the door straight up and then pulling the bottom part to you? get a helper if you can. last house i had, had the sliding glass doors and the screen doors. that's how i got them out.

All screen doors come off the track. Try lifting up while you remove it. The door has a tension on top for easy removal.

Lift the screen door up it should come off . get a straight screw driver and remove rubber splin .lay door flat on floor lay your screen on door .get a pizza cutter and start to push rubber back in door on the screen .all the way around till finished .then take a razor or scissors and trim the left overs .I did my own and once you do it it was not that hard .I was proud when I got done .my son showed me .Good luck .
