Steppingstone path recommendations?

Question

I want to put a steppingstone path in my back yard to go from one fence gate to the other. What recommendation does anyone have to make this a great addition to my backyard. All ideas welcome!

You can buy stepping stones or pavers but you can also go to the Dollar Store, buy tin pans the size you want and if you have children or grandchildren let them make stepping stones and decorate with their hand or foot print or jewels, etc., even write their names and date. I have some in my flower beds that my VBC children did and gave to me from years ago and they still look good from way back when!
