Crumbling planter

How do I fix a crumbling raised brick planter without tearing it down? It's next to my front porch, and backs against the house, so it only has two sides to fix.

Depending on the extent of the damage, it may be best to remove and re-mortar the entire thing. If it is only a few bricks, just clean up that part and re-mortar. Be aware the new mortar may not match, but should weather in within about a year.
