Not sure how big you want the shed, but you can use fence posts (the back 2 need to be slight lower so rain will run off) on all four sides, then use old doors. Two 36 lashed together with galvanized ties and a 1x2 on the seams on 3 sides will give you a pretty good sized shed. Hinges on the other two for a front opening. Use exterior plywood as top and paint with flex seal. Good luck.

The simplest shed has a roof that slopes from one side to the other, usually front to back. It's called a lean-to shed. Here is a plan: http://gardenplansfree.com/storage/lean-to-shed-plans-free/ The plan does not show it, but you need to set the skids on a foundation. This foundation can be as simple as 4" thick x 16" square concrete pads set at intervals below the skids. Make sure they are level with each other before you start building. IMO, the skids should be pressure treated lumber. The plan above came from this site: https://morningchores.com/shed-plans/

The only way you become experienced at something is by doing it! And it depends on what stage in your life you are in, your work obligations, family obligations, etc.

Start with viewing some videos on line..."This Old House" is a good teacher. Keep in mind that cheap materials leads to a pile of trash to clean up and replace what was stored in that rubble!

Get a plan and make a budget. Use wood that is specifically designed for the outside. Learn about building on 16" center! That is a contracting standard!

Go to somewhere that sells sheds, look over the materials used, write them down and then go to a lumber place or big box store and price out the materials.

IYou might find you are better off buying a shed ready built and set in place.
