Remove the old silver and place a very thin mirror behind it, it will look brand new. Years ago I was told that this is an antique restorers trick I did it to the mirrors on a couple antique mantles they turned out beautiful!
I have an antique mirror that needs resilvered in some areas. Is this something that I can do myself? I don't really want to pay to have it done. Thanks!
I have a plastic chair mat under my computer desk that the edges are curled and won't lay flat. Have been unable to bend them back as the plastic is hard
