You could combine some of them together. For example, fill the hole with gravel and then pour sand over it and allow it to sift down between the gravel.
You would cut and dig out the asphalt at either side of the dip, then fill in between, using the dug-out area to feather the asphalt up to match the grade on either side nicely.
When the county came around to resurface our road, I baked brownies and make a "comfort stand" for the crew on a cold day. I "bribed" them with the goodies and asked them to be extra generous at our driveway and they did!
Hi Lully, depending on the depth and size of the dip,, if it's not to large, I'd try Amy's suggestion. If very deep or large, I might fill in with dirt, then get more asphalt put on top. Perhaps the person(s) who did the original work will help you out with this issue. It's always worth a try! :)

You can buy 5 gallon pails of asphalt that you could use to fill in the dip if you need to cover over the asphalt that is already there.

Asphalt Drive Repair Kit is available on eBay and may well be available elsewhere too.
