How to clean up plastic crown molding?

Our crown molding is plastic and can’t be sanded. The joints have been put together poorly. I have painted them twice trying to smooth them up . I tried sparkling but that didn’t work. Please help.

spakling will not work on plastic.Try a plastic bonding filler.not exactly sure of the name
Try using paintable caulk. Usually that is what is used to seal joints in molding.
would it be something a epoxy type filler could take care of? You could fill in the gaps with the epoxy, sand it smooth and paint
You could try White Toothpaste.
