Hi Rhonda, sounds like a faulty switch to me. Have you tried replacing the switch?
Get the wiring checked out by an electrician...... Or could be damp getting in somewhere.
Either it’s fauly wiring or it’s a sensor and critters keep passing by.
But the dimming probably means wiring. I don’t think it’s just the switch. If it’s a shed, could be that mice or squirrels have been chewing wires - for some obscure reason they like to do that.
Though I hate to say it, call the electrician.
We don’t mess with water or things that can zap our house or us.
Call the electrician, only way to know is to get it fixed, then if it continues, who ya gonna call, The Ghost Busters !
There is a short or loose wire going to the shed light. Either a loose ground or neutral wire somewhere.
Incredible. I don’t know what to say, except find an old electrician with a head full of info.
