Go to specialty flooring stores where they some even have them on the floor, or at least larger displays than Lowe’s or HD., and often better lighting.
Check out the tiles that look like wood as well. I don’t know if theyd suit your style, but they are gorgeous.
If you have a dog better get good not cheap. Had to remove my floor because dog scratched it with nails looked terrible.
Once you choose the brand and model/style name. Enter both in google and see who has the best price. If not a DIY project, check HD and Lowes for install sPecials. Sometimes 89 cents a sq ft. Good luck
I have hardwood installed in the 50's, by the original owner, they are a lot of work, I would chose the " tiles " that resemble wood, they are easy to clean, just mop.
fyi cheap is not always the way to go...opt for what you can afford but buyer beware
If you get the phony vinyl stuff, you'll be sorry. Ours was ruined within two years. We wished we'd spent more and not wasted all that time and energy.
