DIY Mirror + Hidden Jewelry Organizer

I have a confession to make. I don't own a full length mirror. And my jewelry is a mess! Which meant that every day...gasp...I walked out the front door without fully knowing what I looked like. It was a risky move I made every single day! And, I would spend way too long searching for and detangling jewelry!
And then I came up with the perfect solution for both of my problems! So I set about to build the perfect, chippy paint, DIY Mirror with Hidden Jewelry Organization!
I now know what I look like before I leave the house every day and I have a beautiful way to organize my jewelry too! And it only takes up one wall!!
First I built a beautiful frame for my mirror and attached my mirror to my frame with Elmer's ProBond Advanced (this stuff is AMAZING!)
And then I built my interior shadow bow and jewelry organization area! I used this beautiful metal that I found at the craft store and peg board hooks to organize all of my jewelry in a completely customizable way that is so modern and fun looking!
And I finally took the plunge and for the first time, did a chippy paint finish on my entire piece! I was so worried at first that I had made a mistake...but after a little while I grew to love the finish!

I am in love with both how functional and how pretty this piece is and I love that I was able to build it myself!

Check out my blog post for the full tutorial and all the details...it's a long but good one.

Absolutely Brilliant! I don't care who sells these, I know I can make it a whole lot cheaper! Thanks a million. I am even going to give them as gifts to the other jewelry lovers in my life!
