How to epoxy gift magnets?

My sister did a lot of epoxy on food and fake food in the 1980s, such as the spilled cup of coffee, a piece of cherry pie, a fly in the bottom of a tea cup. I would like to do a bunch of small magnets with something on top and a mailing label to give as gifts from me and possibly from my church. We have one epoxied Hershey’s Kiss on a magnet that is 30-40 years old. I might use a small seashell with a tiny silk rose on top of a magnet square. I have the magnets, seashells, address labels and glue. I would like to ask Hometalk for a 32 oz kit of epoxy with the measuring cups. I would like to ask Hometalkers for your tips, warnings, advice and ideas! I need small crafts I can do when I am bedbound. Thank you all!
