Space savers

I'm moving into a small apartment with one closet. I need some suggestions on how to fit clothes that can't fit in drawers without the closet looking messy & cramped. The apartment is a 3 room with a bedroom, kitchen & living room. I'm a very neat & orderly person but I'm feeling the stress as moving day comes closer. I just want my home to look nice not cluttered.
Thank you

Buy yourself some bed risers so you can store stuff under the bed. get handsome storage boxes, or paint Rubbermaid ones with Krylons plastic spray.

One designer used a fun fitted sheet on her box spring and painted her frame black.

If you go up to the Search box at the top of this page and type in Apartment, you’ll find tons of advice and suggestions about utilizing space attractively.

Good luck. Try to enjoy yourself.

purchase some storage bags and change your closet over for the seasons putting the off season under your bed in storage bags. If you need to use the inexpensive risers for your bed feet. Looks grand anyways. I’m also a fan of cute matching fabric or plastic tubs on shelves for day to day storage. Trunks make cute furniture pieces but can hold all sorts of things! Wooden Crates attached to walls hold towels. Organizers that clip to inside of doors and cabinet doors are helpful.

Also use vacuum bags for under bed storage. I love bed risers!

It’s amazing how much room you can reclaim in closets by getting rid of wooden and plastic hangers and replacing them with “huggable” flocked hangers. They come in lots of colors too.

Thank you Kat I didn't think about huggable hangers that's a great idea. I think the stress of moving is causing me a lil brain freeze lol
