Sharpening garden tools

A grinding wheel for an electric drill is cheap and will work. A file will also do, Just more work.

I found a guy that sharpens skates, knives, etc here in Windsor. It gave a new lease to my knives.

Try a heavy spray of wd40 ( let it set for a period of time ) and a bucket of sand ( to use as an abrasive) .. Use the handles to push the tools into the sand until rust and grime is gone ..

You can also use crumbled up aluminum foil or steel wool to remove the rust. I've read that storing the tools, blades down, in a bucket of sand laden with motor oil can prevent them from rusting (again).
