I have a few spray cans, deodorizing, cleaning and pest spray cans that when you press that top nozzle nothing will come out ! Or I've used once and it won't spray anything out. Anyone have a fix or hack to solve this issue?

If there is still pressure in the can you can soak the spray button in a solvent appropriate to the contents of the can or you can try spray buttons from another can that does work. If the propellant is gone the can is garbage.

Once they do not spray they are usually not good any more. I now turn the can upside down as I do for spray paint and squirt a little. This tends to make the cans last longer.

Sometimes the little sprayer nozzle gets clogged.....I have pulled it off and washed it in hot water....put it back on, shake well and it may work. Spraying upside down works also.

When you do in fact empty a can, REMOVE THE SPRAY TIP, clean it, water for water based paint, and paint thinner for oil's, and SAVE it. Then when you have a can that has a plugged up spray nozzle , it MAY fit, If you always use the same brand, it will fit most likely. I have saved many a can that way in my 87 years.
