Ask at Home Depot. They have numerous contractors that come in and out of their store for supplies and that do work for their customers.

Be wary of the contractors or private companies that are in the front of DIY stores, they are not supported by the store in any way what so ever. We were severely stung financially by one of these "fly-by-night" contractors. Even though we had a contract, it was an awful product that could not be supported and they were not able to show up and do the work after numerous phone calls about product failure & all kinds of promises and excuses.

Instead, go to Angie's list for a reliable contractor.

The help desk at Home Depot will make arrangements with contractors they have confidence in. Just do not pay anyone until you are 100% satisfied with the completed job.

I don't like Angies list or Homeadvisor. Contractors pay to be listed on different levels. A lot of "bad" contractors pay more to be on top of the referral list. Why do you think it's a free service!!! Here there is a concrete contractor that goes by three different names on Homeadvisor and Angies list. The consumer doesn't even know it's the same people. Very bad BBB rating and several lawsuits against him. Go online and Google for contractors in your area. Then check out the reviews. When you find some get free quotes, referrals, licensing from them. Do not pay them fully until the job is completed and you are satisfied. Usually a 35% deposit is customary.
