You could get sections of lattice and frame it Out. Use hinges to secure them together. If you are looking for privacy Add material to one side.

Depending how much privacy you need, I think the large Ikea Kallax shelving to adds nice visual "room" separation in a multi use space or a studio apartment.
Hollow core doors no holes for door knob hinged together in such a way they will stack together
Bi-fold doors would work or old shutters hinged together. Perhaps it would depend on your decor, too. You can make frames and stretch fabric in them also for privacy and it would add a pattern or color.
Old shutters hinged together look really interesting and also provide slats to hang artwork. I can get them at my local salvage guy for $10 each. Check a ReStore (Habitat for Humanity) or other "thrift" shop in your area/
