  • Call the painter back and have them repaint until you are happy. Did you pay them already?

I think it looks fine as is, but if adding masonry color, be sure to tape off (frog tape or run a line of clear coat over the tape edge to prevent bleed through) and mask area,,,, then I would use a small foam roller.

Do you want the foundation to look like bricks? To match the house color? To contrast the house color?

You might be able to try a power washer and spray the bricks it might take some of the paint off in areas you want

Looks cute. Please don't try to remove with pressure washer. Will look more shabby then chic. I think maybe dry brushing area meant to be "grout" lines with a concrete color would give you more the look you're going for.

I see what you mean about the color. If you selected and bought the paint, you got what you purchased applied to the house, looks like the contractor did a good job of complete coverage. But from what I am reading this is not what you wanted done.

To change this, I would give it a more muted tone over the base of the house either with a long knap roller or a open textured sponge.

It would be a lot of detail work to make a brick pattern with the grays.

    Hello,

make colour more intense, with a second coat. Pick out Joints (pointing) by using another colour and an Artist Brush.
