How to replace solar chargers/lights in resin garden art?

The solar collectors in outdoor resin figurines become moisture damaged yet the figurine remains in good condition and upon closer examination, the solar collectors are different in sizes.
I'd like to replace or repair the solar powered outdoor lights in my figurines.

Oh looks like you'd need to find a replacement piece!

Google search for "1.5V solar cells" - a number of sites (including Amazon) sell various sizes. With luck, you might find what you need!

Hope it helps! One more thought: if the problem with your solar cells is that they have become cloudy (happens with plenty of my solar lights) there's a fix for that. It's frustrating to spend $$ on these things and have them fail! If you do succeed in finding a replacement cell, I hope you'll post your repair process. Best of luck!

Susie, if you've found a fix for the cloudy solar cells, would you please share it?

I use white toothpaste and a damp cloth the clean solar cells. Then I spray some WD40 on them to protect them. Also make sure you change the batteries when needed.

Sometimes you just need to replace batteries. Those are usually available in the garden dept near solar items @ Walmart as soon as they put them out. But they’re not cheap.
