I painted my counter tops. Used 3 coats of primer that is suppose to be used for over glass and shiny surfaces, 3 coats of paint (Behr enamal), and 3 or 4 coats of clear sealer, and it still nicked up very easy. Disappointed. Yes you can paint counters but mine did not last. Also if you lay anything like cardboard box or anything with a design on it and it sits on there for awhile, it will sometimes stick or leave ink from design impression on it. New counters will be installed when the funds become available. Hope this helps.
