How do u fix holes in paneling to paint it?

    I used wood putty, then sanded with a very fine paper to smooth it.

    I agree with Jean, wood putty shout do the job and once dry, make sure you sand it so it is smooth and flush with the paneling so it doesn't show.

    Use Colgate white toothpaste you may have to apply more than onetime to build it up but each time I use old men's t shirts wet to damp then wipe smooth but do not sand the paneling. We have a dry walling Co the largest in midwest been in Business over 60 years. We use this for holes in popped drywall nails or screws or in plaster other scratches WORKS WONDERS
