What to do about tarnished aluminum?

I have a double wide door going out of house ...not sliding and the aluminum bottom plate has tarnished looks on the track including where the sliding screen goes ......any ideas on making that look good again....which I could download pictures.......

Well first I am confused as a what type of door this is. Anything on a "track" is a sliding door. Aluminum oxidizes. See if this helps.

i thought I down loaded a picture but not there......it’s oxidation......the track was for screen.....looks uke.....eeee......try it tomorrow vinegar ......thanks Rick
