Help Very bad, I have wood what can I do??

You can do this! It can be fun!

Do you need full dress length hanging? Any hanging? It's a closet, so go simple. No floating shelves; save that for the decor areas. While everything's out, wash down the walls and paint. While the paint is drying have a 'loves you' 'loves you not' sorting party. Call a charity to pick up the loves you nots.

I like modular so you can rearrange till you get the best arrangements. I've not tried Ikea, but their reputation is for solid rearrangeable cubes. Take a stroll and a notebook to sketch ideas and cost. Bring your measurements of the closet. Take your time. Don't buy the first visit, just imagine and plan.

You have a fabulous walk in closet! Take everything out and decide what to keep (donate everything else). You can fit far more into a chest of drawers than you can hang on a rack. Check out the KonMari folding method and invest in some drawers (you can probably find inexpensive second-hand drawers if you’re on a tight budget). Good luck! xx

I agree that before you embark upon 'redoing' the closet arrangement, you need to first pare down the contents.

However, I think that taking everything out and then trying to decide what to keep will be far too huge of a task. Everything is now in the closet, so it isn't going to make the job easier if everything is out of the closet, where? probably piled on the bed! Chances are that you will become overwhelmed and tired, and will just throw everything back into the closet piled up again.

Instead, I would suggest that you go through the stuff in the closet in small stages and short sessions.

* Take one garbage bag, and then set a goal pr session, such as 3 items, or another number that you think you can manage.

*Any item that no longer fits, can't use, don't like any more, or don't want for any other reason, goes into the bag.

* Then close the bag and take it to the nearest clothing/thrift donation centre or drop off box. Immediately. Do not leave the bag lying around.

*You are then one step closer towards your 'new' closet and can feel good that you have accomplished something and are making progress

When I did my closet, I first went through it very quickly and pulled out the no-brainer stuff for discard or donation. Then wait a couple of days and do it again (you will be surprised at how much you missed on the first time through. Then I would take fabric bins and put all the shelf items in matching bins. Then go through the closet one more time with a more critical eye and eliminate anything that doesn't qualify as your favorite. You will be amazed at the results.... I was!

For half o fit you need to put in a double rack - to just hang pants and shirts. You need more hanging space. Also organization would help a lot. All shirts together then divide to short sleeve, log sleeve. Then down to color.
