Can anything be done with a broken umbrella?

It is a hand held 'rainy day' umbrella with a very cute fabric pattern. But, some of the spokes are broken and if you can get it open, then you can't close it. So before it gets tossed, just wondered if anyone has repurposed something like that.

Been there, done that, no. If you want to preserve the fabric, carefully remove it (it's only attached in 3 spots per rib) and attach it to the fabric of a plain umbrella of the same size.

You can close it up and add flower arrangement at handle then tie a pretty bow around the closed umbrella that matches your flowers. Hang on a door or where you would like. All this really depends on how badly it's broken of course!
