I need some advice on covering an aluminum ceiling on my porch.

My ceiling has become corroded at the seams and is ugly. I can’t afford to replace it and don’t like the idea of painting it. Can you give me some alternate ideas to fix my eyesore ceiling? Thank you
Clean it with a soap filled steel wool pad like a Brillo pad. Then put a coat of clear polyurethane or since it's outside, spar varnish, over it or wax it.
You could try attaching a type of beadboard to it.
In the Florida heat, likely not. Between the air temperature and then the aluminum heating up, it might melt any kind of adhesive.
Maybe an explanation of the look you are going for would assist in getting it.
