Hi Dottie, It will depend on what kind of plants you have. Do you know the names of your plants and are they indoors or outdoors? That would help us answer your question. Thanks!
Depending on the planet you're watering.
There is no real formula and it all depends on the plant and how dry the soil is. It is best to give the plant a thorough soaking and then wait for it to dry down again. Overwatering may cause mildew and rot the roots. If the leaves show they are soft and sagging that sometimes is the key to needing water but you should put your finger in the soil to see if it is dry.
it depends on the plants... we live in AZ and it is summer... we water potted stuff every day at sunset.... the rest every other to every 2nd day.... my house plants get watered every Friday... but... I use clear plastic serving or punch bowls as the saucers... so they hold several cups of water at a time.
Overwatering a plant will kill it, as well as underwatering. The type of plant will determine how much watering.
