No fencing is cheap! Even planting trees costs money and they are messy!

Before you put up a fence, make sure you know where the property line is and move onto your property a few feet (leave room to mow the other side of the fence...don't leave that task up to them (that will assure it is always considered your property!).

It is absolutely a MUST that you consult the ordinances in your area to know for sure how far you have to be from the property line and how close to the road you can go with a fence.

You can buy cedar fencing in already put together in 6'x6' sections at the big box stores and you can put up a section complete with posts and concrete for about $120-150 for each 6 ft section.

Do a section about every other month and put it up! Pretty soon you will have it finished.

Many/most people don't like fencing in the front. Especially "cheap" fencing. Yes, check your town ordinances - it may not be permitted. And certainly speak to your neighbor beforehand.
