Walmart Carrie's some stick ones that look great
Faux tin ceiling tiles, wall paper, or just paint.
Lowe's and some other home improvement stores have metallic style that look like tile, but are all one piece. You can cut it to fit your kitchen, it comes in sheets. They are EASY to install, and are just peel and stick, but stay on very nicely! They are easy to clean, and inexpensive for back splash. If we can put one up, any one can. They come in tones like copper, tin or silver, and gold or brass looking.
Even a piece of sheet metal or roofing tin can be used (just don't cut your hands when cutting to size)
You can try peel and stick tiles-they're great!
Thanks to all for suggestions.
