Is there anyway to fix cast iron bench

Had bench sitting in yard ...landscaper accidentally hit and broke off one of the legs which is cast iron so cannot be welded, love the bench anyway to salvage it.

As you stated.... cast iron cannot be welded.... the landscaper broke it... he should replace it..... Harbor Freight, Walmart, and others carry them for about $100... the old one can be scrapped

There are two ways to fix: brazen patch (bronze is used) and a metal stitch (usually a steel pin). Both are not inexpensive to have done, but if it's a valuable/sentimental bench, you should have it fixed. Good luck.

JB weld water weld is an epoxy putty steelstik is ideal for ast iron
