When wearing a wig, where do you get large bobbypins for wigs?

Beauty Supply store or any shop that sells wigs, hairpieces and extensions. A "better" drug store may carry. Back in the day, they used to sell in the grocery store next to the now long forgotten Bobby pins.
Have you tried Amazon? I saw many wigs/accessories there.
My mom used to use the littlest size of hair clips/barrettes they held thru the mesh part of the wig quite well (she had very little hair in the front... so she sewed one on the front edge of the wig... then would clip it onto a band-aid at her hair line).... she finally gave up wigs when she moved here to Phoenix... they were too hot.
