What to do about neighbor that doesn't follow lot lines?
I have a neighbor next to my property who always mows a couple feet onto my lawn. Not a bad thing, but his mower is set to scalp the grass, mine is set higher. Do I confront him, send him a note, or let the local law enforcement contact him>?

I would confront him.Tell him it is appreciated ,however you cut your grass higher
talk to him and ask him to mow just his lawn explaining your reason for it. be nice about it he should agree.
Does he realize he is mowing over on you? Sometimes people have not surveyed. Are there line markers? Just want you to think about all this before you do anything! I understand however, it happened to us!
I would try to politely talk to your neighbor first. Your neighbor might not realize that they are mowing over too far. Then if that doesn't work, move to written notification (keep a copy and send it certified mail to verify it was delivered) then if that doesn't work you'll have to bring the law in. Generally just a nice friendly chat will do it. Unless your neighbor is a complete jerk...... I've had to deal with something similar but it involved the neighbor putting their fence over too far and sadly it got ugly......
