I just put in an 8x10 shed. I didn’t want to pour concrete so I have the option of removing the shed and returning to grass.

I made a wood frame using 2x4s. The frame was slightly larger than my shed. The frame was temporarily and sued to contain the base of finely crushed stone (sturdy but isn’t permanent). I pounded down the stone so it didn’t shift then put down 20 2’x2’ patio stones. When I finish assembling the shed the wood frame will be removed.

*A wood base isn’t a good idea because the wood will deteriorate over time and leave the shed unstable and prone to sinking. replacing a wood base will be challenging once the shed is up.

*the chair and curtain are temporary And will be replaced with a work table, peg board for my tools, shelving and room for the lawnmower.
