Hi Patricia, It's surprising what paint can do. To make a room seem bigger than it actually is, paint very light color on walls. Use light color curtains as well. If you hang a large mirror across from a window, the natural light is doubled and gives the appearance of more room. If you want to add pops of color, do it with pillows and art. Best of luck to you.
