How or can I paint over mirrored closet doors?

I'd like to paint the mirrored doors in my front room. I hate them. I'm always cleaning them. They are the cheap ones so they don't clean well. Can I use chalk paint or do I need something a bit more labor intensive. Thanks

are u able to remove them? If so, thatā€™s what Iā€™d try to do. Then paint the doors. If you need to replace the depth because you took the mirrors off, you can do that with wood insertion.

I wouldnā€™t use chalk paint either. But maybe someone has done that over glass.

Go on Pinterest and put in your inquiry. Iā€™m always amazed

I've been DYING to cover over my 80's mirrored walls! I think paint will scrape off too easily. Look into static cling wallpapers or peel and stick wallpapers.

Have you thought rather than paint them which will always end with a chipped finish, you could cover them with either Clear or patterned Contact or even fabric or wallpaper or Timber...............

Have you considered using contact paper instead? My niece did this in her spare bedroom, and it actually looks quite nice.
