How do I create a medium sized stained glass look in a window?

Question

I have artistic ability and want to paint what would look like a stained glass window within my large Laundry room window, maybe even do a laundry theme. I saw this done with a small round patio table, would the same technique work on a window installed in the house, vertically that is?

Amazon and Michael's carry a line of paint that is designed to mimic stained glass... one part looks like the led came between the colored glass... I have also seen colored tissue used instead of paint (cut the tissue at least 1/4 inch larger than the shape... say a leaf.... crumple the tissue apply to the plexiglas or glass using Modge Podge or decoupage glue... a layer of glue, tissue paper (manipulate to where it fits within the pattern, final layer of glue... let dry.... you can then apply the 'ledding'
